Summary:


The Human Resources Generalist supports the Human Resources Department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The Human Resources Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities and will help with important functions such as employee relations, training and development, and compensation and benefits.


  • Responsibilities:
  • Assists in developing and executes personnel procedures and policies and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations.
  • Participates in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements.
  • Assists in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
  • Suggests new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and company.
  • Ensures compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary.
  • Prepares paperwork and schedules for smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Handles all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews.
  • Provides a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
  • Be the primary backup for payroll processing.
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development.
  • Manages employee relations, including employee grievances and disciplinaries.
  • Assists in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  • Promotes HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Assists in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Undertakes tasks around performance management.
  • Organizes annual employee performance reviews.
  • Maintains employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Ensures compliance with labor regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment and labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. Proliant) will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
  • Additional HR training will be a plus
