Training Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Training Coordinator (TC) bridges communication between departments to provide comprehensive and engaging training solutions while tracking participation and progress to meet organizational goals. The TC supports the design and implementation of training programs to ensure employees are effectively onboarded, compliant with regulations, and continuously improving their skills. This role works directly with the VP of Event Resources to execute training initiatives effectively.
Training Coordinator Responsibilities:
· Direct reporting to VP of Event Resources.
· Exclusively assigned to training and development for the Event Resources team.
· In collaboration with VP of Event Resources support Operations, Event Resources, and Administration Managers to schedule training sessions, including new hire orientation and ongoing education.
· Act as a liaison between employees and management to resolve scheduling or training issues.
· Deliver training presentations and resources.
· Communicate training schedules and requirements to employees and managers.
· Coordinate on boarding processes for new employees to ensure a smooth transition and readiness for their roles.
· Develop and updates engaging training materials and resources that foster independent learning.
· Communicate changes and updates related to organizational processes, policies, and initiatives to employees.
· Support in maintaining and updating training records, including attendance, completion rates, and performance assessments.
· Provide logistical and administrative support for training sessions, including preparing materials and managing schedules.
· Support safety initiatives through coordination and communication.
Associate Support Responsibilities:
· Support Associate Support group with onsite client management (Dispatch and check-in)
· Provide support for large events including ASU, Barrett Jackson, WMPO, and Spring Training
· Gather new hire data from HR, manage outreach efforts, and generate progress reports to track candidate development and training milestones
· Perform daily outreach to ensure completion of:
1. Associate 1 Training
2. Crowd management training
3. IDV training
4. Guard Card training online and in-person
Requirements
· 1–3 years of experience in training, coordination, or administrative roles.
· Awareness of company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
· Proven ability to organize, schedule, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
· Strong verbal presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Customer service-oriented, with the ability to handle tasks in a professional and efficient manner.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Basic understanding of instructional design and training delivery methods preferred.
· Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) or e-learning tools.
· Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements for employee training.
· Certification in Training Coordination or a related field (optional but beneficial).
· Hands-on experience organizing and facilitating training sessions.
