Unarmed Event Security - Tucson

Part-Time opportunity for guard-carded security guards or guard card capable candidates.

Looking for individuals interested in or experienced in unarmed security duties.

Responsibilities:

• Watch for irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required.
• Remains alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators; approaches suspicious person and/or notifies police as appropriate; may confront and detain violators, as required, until police arrive.
• Patrols assigned area on foot or in motor vehicle, as assigned, to ensure personnel, building, and equipment security.
• Examines doors, windows, and gates to ensure security; uses client keys to open and close buildings; monitors closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities.
• Prepares routine, standardized reports.
• Provides escorts as necessary.
• Informs and warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.

Requirements: You must already be located in the Greater Tucson area (address should reflect).

• Guards must have or able to obtain an AZ Unarmed Security Guard License.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a clean background with no felonies or misdemeanors!
• Must be to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Must be able to work outside during any season in extreme weather conditions.
• Must be able to communicate in English with clients, vendors, and patrons.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a valid phone number and valid email address.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to walk and climb stairs for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Must be customer service driven.

Starting PAY:

• Guest Service Rep= $16.00 - 17.00/hr.
• Guard carded Unarmed Security Guard= $17.00 - 18.00/hr. 
• Overnight Unarmed Security Guard= $18.00 - 19.00/hr.
