Job Summary:

 

The Warehouse Lead - Structure / Vinyl will ensure all distribution activities are met as scheduled; as well as manage dock shipping/receiving, inventory control and any other related duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control structure rental inventory, manage shortage, and breakage of inventory.

·        Inspects all incoming equipment for condition – clean, repair, and return to inventory.

  • Manages tenting and structure to include asset care and staging orders

·        Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the work order.

·        Verifies the quantity and description of equipment received against order.

·        Places materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner.

·        Enter quantity received against the purchase order in the computer system, print back order and inventory stock put away list.

·        Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers.

·        Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.

  • Complete periodic spot checks of all items.
  • Performs periodic inventory audits.
  • Establish grading levels for inventory equipment.
  • Attend weekly operations meetings to update team on inventory issues.
  • Work directly with sales on large events to schedule roll out of equipment to avoid overbooking and determine sub-rental needs.
  • Keep inventory levels current

·        Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work in fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • At least 2 years of experience in warehouse and shop operations.
  • Experience operating power equipment and tools, including forklifts.
  • Good oral and written (email) communication skills; excellent math skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.

·        Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment

  • Must be able to lift 30+ lbs

·        Able to be on their feet for upwards of 8 hours a day

·        Able to spend 90% amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing

·        Able to climb ladders for top-level selection

·        Able to identify product by size, type, style, color, or product code.

·        Solid reading skills – must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.

·        Ability to understand and execute instructions.

  • Must be forklift certified or able to become certified.
