Job Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to optimize product life cycle process and assigned labor effort, leading and coordinating the activities of warehouse personnel to ensure efficient and timely receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement an efficient refurbishment/conversion process.
· Provide analysis of all product lines through each life cycle phase to determine opportunities to improve return on investment.
· Work closely with Warehouse Manager on the design and implementation of maintenance strategies to prolong equipment life
· Develop and implement and out-of-service program ensure that old equipment is moved out of inventory consistently and within defined timelines
· Play a key role in the implementation of designated product life-cycle.
· Develop process to ensure proper billing for damaged equipment
· Develop, mentor and train team members on all aspects of equipment management.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
· Conduct regular safety meetings and training for warehouse staff.
· Investigate and report any accidents or incidents.
· Collaborate with management to optimize warehouse procedures.
· Implement and enforce quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments.
· Inspect and address any discrepancies or damages in inventory.
Requirements:
· Experience in material handling equipment, including forklift and pallet jack
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
· Strong analytical mindset and abilities
· Ability to work within a service-oriented team culture
· Strong sense of ethics, discretion and adherence to processes
· Ability and willingness to seek out areas for improvement and solve problems
· Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
· Ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization
· Demonstrated business acumen
· Clean MVR
· DOT certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
